It was quite difficult to get the equipment working after delivery from my Chinese hardware dealers stopped, first due to Chinese New Year and then the virus. Had to improvise a lot!
Nevertheless I had the first run 3 days before leaving for Germany ….
The sensors are connected to ESP8566 microcontroller MQTT clients that communicate with an MQTT server on a Pi. Client is an ioBroker application with SQL data bank for historical data storage on my notebook. IOT 🙂
Everything still beta but first results are very encouraging. Significantly faster and easier to operate than my old static equipment. Will continue in December after Germany!
